In a nutshell, this is what you need to know: To start employing through Remote, you have to sign our Master Service Agreement (MSA) and our Service Level Agreement (SLA). The MSA is a global service agreement and the SLA sets out specific terms related to your company's particular employment situation. Ancillary agreements with your employees related to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), assignment of inventions and intellectual property (IP) remain between your company and your employees.
What contracts do I have to sign?
To employ through Remote, you have to sign two contracts with us:
- The Remote Master Service Agreement (MSA), which establishes a global service agreement with us. The MSA sets out the general terms and conditions of our service provision and explains the dependencies between our global entities.
- The Remote Service Level Agreement (SLA), which sets out the specific terms related to your particular employment situation. The SLA sets out the specific terms for Remote's employment of your talent with details such as their personal information, compensation, benefits, terms of employment, disciplinary terms, etc.
How does Remote handle non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), assignment of inventions and intellectual property (IP)?
Contracts related to non-disclosure agreements, assignment of inventions, and intellectual property rights remain part of the direct relationship between your company and the employee. The agreements your company signs with Remote does not have any impact on these.
What is the minimum contract duration?
The minimum contract duration is 6 months.
Do you support part-time employment?
Yes, we can support part-time employment of your employees through Remote.
